28/08/02 Huckleberry Harry rides back from the States

Harry Connolly, renowned throughout Antrim GAA as
the fastest hurler in the West - West Belfast that is - just rode
back from the States after finding out if he had what it takes to
be a cowboy.
Judging by this photo, taken in Montana during a cattle
drive, he's more than made the grade, but as there are already a
few cowboys within the club he's made it clear there's only room
for one as far as he's concerned.

Proud father Eddie Connolly told the club website "Ever since
he was a kid he always wanted to be just like John Wayne and now that
he's gone out and done it we think he's finally got it out of his
system".
Harry's finding it hard though to adjust to life back in Ireland,
when asked at training on Tuesday night how long it took him to
get back to Belfast from the States he replied "Two day's
ride".
