Johnnies youngsters enjoy Presentation
Night
On Saturday night last St. John's under-8's and under-10's were honoured
at a presentation night in the clubrooms.
The night, which was attended by the young hurlers, footballers and parents
alike, was in honour of their success, skill and commitment over the past
year. Club Chairman, Tony Mc Nulty and Chairman of St. John's Juvenile Committee,
Frank Maskey were on hand to make the presentations on the night.
They congratulated the juveniles on their success, which included the winning
of the St. Gall's Mayday football competition. Frank Maskey thanked the
parents for their support throughout the year, the juvenile managers and
those who assisted on a weekly basis to ensure the smooth running of the
juvenile section of the club.
Meanwhile the St. John's coaches and managers will be well kitted out for
the year. St. John's clubman and Andersonstown solicitor, Liam Vallely has
generously sponsored a set of jackets for all the juvenile managers and
coaches within in the club. The presentation of jackets was made on Saturday
afternoon, prior to the juvenile presentations.
It will be another busy evening for the Johnnies on Saturday evening, 24th
February, when the annual youth presentation will be held. All members are
welcome to attend.
