Action from the game at Milltown
|
The second half saw the game open up a bit as
the tiredness of two committed teams took its
toll.
St Galls managed to reduce the deficit before
St. Johns U14 player Conal McGlade received a
pass from David McGarrity and shot from 20 yards
low to St. Galls goal minder Daniel McConnell's
right to score a marvellous goal.
|
However, St Galls weren't finished yet when Mark McGowan
collected and drove a low shot through a mass of St Johns
players to give the "Galls" hope. But from the
kick out Eoghan Caldwell delivered to Gary Stone to secure
the security point for St. Johns and ultimate victory.
