Club Ground

St. John's home ground is known as Corrigan Park.

The ground was first opened in September 1926 and was one of the first grounds to be owned by the G.A.A. outside of Dublin.

It was not, however, until 1953 that St. John's took over the actual running of the park.

Corrigan Park is an impressive setting and for many years was the official County Antrim ground until Casement Park was opened in 1953. An atmospheric venue at which to play and watch matches, Corrigan Park is particularly distinctive because of the hills and stand that surround the pitch within the ground itself. This provides for a more intimate and enclosed feel.

Corrigan Park has played host to many Ulster club, colleges and inter-county fixtures in recent years and is still regarded as County Antrim's second official ground.

Corrigan Park is arguably one of the premier grounds to be found within the whole of Ireland.

Club Facilities

At Corrigan Park St. John's has 1 Gaelic pitch, a training area, a stand (with changing rooms, showers, and clubroom), a sports complex (containing an indoor

sports hall, weights room, changing rooms, showers and canteen), clubhouse (bar, clubrooms and function rooms) and car park.

At the Poleglass site St. John's has its second Gaelic pitch, changing rooms, showers and car park.
